Smoking MaryJane
A suspect was arrested Oct. 25 for smoking marijuana at the Metro bus shelter on 15th S.W.
Could not stay away
A man was arrested at the Garden Point Apartments on 112th Street Oct. 25 after he assaulted his ex-girlfriend. Two valid no-contact orders had been in place.
Mail Theft
An officer was returning home Oct. 28 at 4:40 p.m. on 25th Avenue S.W. when he saw a person wearing all black clothing by the mailboxes north of his address. He drove around the corner and arrested a suspect who was in possession of credit cards and IDs not his own.
Pepper sprayed security guard
A female stole merchandise from at the Super Saver and was confronted by security outside the story. She pepper sprayed the lost prevention person.
Involuntary commitment
A woman was involuntarily committed to Highline Medical Center Nov. 1 because she suffers from extreme paranoia and psychotic delusions making her unable to take care of herself.
Mental complaints
A husband on 8th Avenue S. threatened to kill himself and hit himself with closed fists and attempted to strangle himself with his hands.
Sexual offender registration
A man was convicted of Open and Gross Lewdness in Nevada in 1998. He was also convicted of Attempted Open and Gross Lewdness in Nevada on 4/20/2000. He has a lifetime requirement to register as a sex offender.
Operator's License Violation
An officer observed a driver on Des Moines Memorial Drive directly in front of him weaving in the lane. The vehicle crossed the double yellow by 1/2 tire width for approximately one second on two separate occasions. He was cited for DWLS 3rd, and Ignition Interlock violation.
Mental disturbance
A female was causing a disturbance at multiple hotels and went into traffic. She was trespassed from the Ramada Inn. She had been yelling inside multiple hotels about a dead child and a CIA plot. The incident occurred Oct. 28.
Breaking and fleeing
An unknown female broke out a sliding glass door to gain entry to a residence Oct. 29 at 23:29 hours. She startled the resident and ran back out the same door. Nothing appeared to have been taken.
Mental complaints
A man was walking around in the rain with his pants around his ankles and talking to himself. He was unresponsive to verbal communication with an officer. The incident took place on the top floor of the parking garage on 4th Avenue S.W.
A gun in the courthouse
On Oct. 31 at 7:42 at the Burien Courthouse a routine bag check revealed the presence of a Glock 42 handgun in the bag of one individual. The discovery ended without incident.
