Murder-suicide in Sea-Tac
Deputies responded to a report of a shooting at a house in the 2400 block of S. 142 Lane around 7 a.m. on Wed., Aug. 2. When officers arrived, they found two men on the front deck dead from apparent gunshot wounds. A witness told police he drove up to the house and saw the men talking. One of them pulled out a gun and shot the other one, then turned the gun on himself. Deputies realized they had responded to the house before for gang related violence—but have not determined if this shooting was gang related. Detectives are still trying to determine the motive for the shooting. Both men were in their 20s. The King County Medical Examiner will release the names of the deceased once family members have been notified.
Commercial burglary at Zip Locksmith
A suspect forced entry to Zip Locksmith and stole chip keys, a computer, commercial grade deadbolts and door handles. The crime was reported around 7:30 p.m. on Thurs., July 27.
Threats at Locker Room Tavern
A man pulled a knife on a woman at the Locker Room Tavern, 9633 16th Ave. S.W., around 11 p.m. on Thurs., July 27 and then threatened to kill her.
Commercial burglary at Rick’s Master Marine
Rick’s Master Marine, 8500 Dallas Ave. S., was burglarized. The owner reported that an unknown suspect cut a hole in the business’ fenced storage yard and stole a customer’s boat. The crime was reported around 6:30 a.m. on Mon., July 24.
Highway robbery on S. 144th St.
A suspect pushed the victim while she was walking in an attempt to take her purse. The victim was weak from a medical incident. The crime occurred on the 2700 block of S. 144th Street around 7 p.m. on Fri., July 21.
Prostitute arrested on S. 160th
A working girl was picked up on the intersection of S. 160th and International Blvd. around midnight on Fri., July 28.
Assault at Texaco
A man tried to remove the suspect from Texaco, 16402 Military Rd. S., around 2 a.m. on Fri., July 28. The suspect shoved the victim who fell, hit his head and was knocked unconscious.
