Laundry room thief makes off with spare change

A suspect pried open the door to a laundry room in the Julainna Apartment complex, located at 3249 S 160, and torched the coin boxes with a welding apparatus in order to steal coins. The crime was reported around 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 19. 

Thief takes guitars

A man called police around 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 18 to report that his home, located on the 12200 block of 2 Place SW, had been burglarized. The thief came in through a window and stole three guitars, valued at a total of $500.

Suspect gets trapped

A resident on the 16200 block of 8 Ave SW found the suspect of the burglary to his home locked in his garage around 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 18. The suspect entered through a side door. 

Mail theft ends in car crash

Around 2 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 17, a mail thief was tased in the face and pepper sprayed, while diving a vehicle near the 3100 block of S. 148 St. The suspect then crashed into a fence. 

Mental complaints from the chicken coop

A suspect was charged with mental complaints after being found trespassing on private property – in the chicken coop on the 100 block of SW 108 St. Officers said the suspect was under the influence of an unknown substance. The crime was reported around 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 17.

Burglary at property for sale

A house located on the 16400 block of Marine View Dr. S. was broken into around 12:55 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 17. The property was on the market. The burglar used a crowbar to force entry into the home.
