Mount Rainier broke into the football win column Friday and did it in a big way.

The Rams routed the Royals of Kent-Meridian by a 27-6 score at Highline Memorial.

Mount Rainier ran its overall record to 1-4 with the win and improved to 1-2 in North Puget Sound League action.

Foster wins, Evergreen loses

Foster finished off Foss by a 31-14 score, meanwhile, to improve to 3-2 overall and 2-2 in the 2A South Puget Sound League.

Evergreen took a 47-13 loss to fall to 0-5 overall along with Highline, which took a 48-6 loss to River Ridge.
