Tom Salle and White Center Eagles raise more than $25,000 for Food Bank

Tom Salle, center, owner of Meat the Live Butcher was joined by volunteers and members of the White Center Eagles to celebrate their effort to support the White Center Food Bank. Together they raised more than $25,000.

Together with the White Center Eagles and the community, Tom Salle and Meat the Live Butcher raised $25,600 for the White Center Food Bank in an effort celebrated in a recent dinner.

John Carney, from the food bank, said that will feed 7,000 families, or 21,000 people, and the amount collected was 4,300 lbs. of food.
