Robbery on Ambaum
A woman working at Walgreens, 14656 Ambaum, was forced to open a safe in the back office by an unknown suspect with a gun. He threatened to shoot her co-worker if she did not comply. After getting the money, the man ran off on SW 148 St, heading west. Police were dispatched to the site of the crime at 1 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7. They were not able to locate the suspect.
Robbery at motel
At 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10, a man called police to report that he was robbed at Motel 6, 16500 International Blvd. He said that a woman lured him to a room, then hit him with a gun in the face and stole his money. He had a small cut on his left eye but declined medical aid.
Attempted burglary on SW 108 St.
A suspect tried to break into a home in the 400 block of SW 108 St, leaving crowbar marks on the front door. The crime was reported around 2:45 p.m. pm Wednesday, Dec. 6.
Vehicle shot in drive-by
The rear window of a victim’s car was shot out by an unknown suspect. The vehicle was parked in the 12600 block of 1 Ave SW. The crime was reported around 2 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 5.
Controlled substance violation at library
At 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 5, officers were dispatched to the Burien Library, in the 400 block of SW 154, to help locate a disorderly subject. The man ran from police onto a city street. When officers caught him, they discovered that he was in possession of methamphetamine.
Assault at library
A verbal and physical disturbance broke out at the White Center Library, 1409 SW 107 St, around 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 5. Multiple subjects were charged with disorderly conduct and assault.
Armed robbery at Des Moines Memorial apartment complex
Officers were dispatched to the site of an armed robbery in the 10200 block of Des Moines Memorial around 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 4. The suspect entered the victim’s apartment complex and was armed with a handgun
Assault at hotel
A man was attacked with pepper spray by an unknown suspect at the Ramada Inn, 16720 International Blvd. The crime was reported at 9 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 4.
