Discover Burien is asking residents to cast their votes for the annual "Best of Burien Awards Survey."

The non-profit organization charged with marketing the city is asking for votes on businesses, organizations and individuals that make a difference, lead by example and participate in the community to make Burien awesome.

Two surveys will be sent out -- the first will be a call for nominations and will be open through Friday, Jan. 19. 

Discover Burien will then compile the list of nominations and send out a second survey for the final votes to determine the winners.

The winners will be presented during the annual Best of Burien Fundraising Dinner on Friday, March 9. Single tickets will be $50 or $40 for Discover Burien members. Companies may reserve a table of eight for $400 or $320 for Discover Burien members.
