Use colorful wool roving to create your own lovely design on a bar of soap. You'll get more use out of your soap, make it last longer, and it will look beautiful!

Hang Time

Come in, hang out, and make a craft, or play a game. Materials and games will be provided.
Teen Sex and Health Resource Fair
Wednesday, February 7, 3-5:30pm
Grades 7-12.
Join the Burien Library Advisory Board for a workshop about sex and health for teens. This will be a welcoming environment for information, discussion and resources. Local organizations will be present to share important information.
Food, snacks and prizes will be available courtesy of the Burien Library Guild.
Introduction to Hand Lettering

Join Lisa Tsang of the Society of Calligraphy and Handwriting to learn the basics of the art of hand lettering. Learn about different tools such as round and flat brushes, parallel pens, and nibs. Find your own style using a variety of pen angles, letter weight, and foundational lines.

Mixed Media Tropical Landscapes

Presented in Spanish by Amaranta Sandys.
Create a tropical landscape by incorporating shapes such as palm trees, lush vegetation, colorful birds and flora found in the Dominican Republic.

Get free individualized tax preparation assistance provided by trained AARP Foundation volunteers. No age or income limits. Please bring picture I.D., documented proof of Social Security Number, information about health care coverage, and last year's return as well as any current tax documents. Continues on Saturdays through April 14.

Citizenship Class
