Lucia Ricci, an 8th-grader at Pacific Middle School, has some advice for her fellow students: "Hard work pays off!" She plays girl's varsity soccer with coach Leone Koroma. Ricci said having a positive attitude is her key to success.

"Lucia is a team player, who hustles hard every practice and game," Koroma said. "This dedication to her sport shows when she regularly scores three or more goals per game. Lucia is a valuable and loved player on our team."
