This year the crosstown baseball bragging rights belong to Chief Sealth.
The Seahawks outslugged the West Seattle Wildcats by a 5-2 score in a Metro League baseball battle Friday.
The action took place on Chief Sealth's home field at the Southwest Athletic Complex.
In another Metro League game it was Ballard beating Ingraham by a 3-1 score.
Kennedy Catholic, meanwhile, emerged victorious over North Puget Sound League rival Mount Rainier on Friday, 7-3.
Boys soccer
Highline's Pirates cruised to a 6-1 victory at River Ridge on Friday as the Tyee Totems edged Steilacoom, 1-0.
Evergreen played to a 2-2 tie against Lindbergh in another South Puget Sound League game and Foster fell to Foss by a 4-1 score.
West Seattle, meanwhile, was a 3-0 winner over Ingraham in the Metro League as Chief Sealth lost, 3-1, to Seattle Prep.
Kennedy played Kentridge to a scoreless tie Friday after Mount Rainier knotted Hazen, 1-1, Thursday.
