Des Moines Police were happy (or relatively so) today after recovering two stolen vehicles in very short time. The first was an older model blue sedan that was dragged through a fence, then through a parking lot, then about 25 blocks. It was spotted in a hotel parking lot by Officer Boehmer. 

The second was late model GMC pickup truck that, thanks to being equipped with OnStar it was recovered within 10 minutes of being reported stolen.

No arrests were made in either case.
