To the editor:

Yipe. At least Mr. Gilbert had the courage to use his name - or so I hope. Diatribes like this are usually written under a pen name that  lets us know where the author stands.

And, yes you are right to print his letter. This is the essence of the first amendment. If anything good has come out of the Trump election and his subsequent behavior it is the emboldening of  the Gilberts among us.They have emerged from their crevices and we now can see that they are real, hear what they really stand for and counter them.

Here’s hoping that Trump doesn’t revoke your credentials you naughty journalist.
