A hate letter that was sent to homes and businesses in Burien last week has prompted an investigation by the King County Sheriff's office.

They are looking into who is responsible for sending the letter. Our news partner Q13 Fox News reports that the letter asks for Black men and women to run for Burien City Council and it says, “We need to make it possible for (ICE) to deport the aliens because our quality of life is going downhill at a rapid rate.”

The letter includes a contact number of a television station in Houston, Texas. Burien Mayor Jimmy Matta was also mentioned in the letter.
