Harvard President Larry Bacow will meet with students, teachers and school leaders at Highline High School (HHS).
In large and small group settings, President Bacow will discuss the importance of considering educational opportunities after high school and talk about how students can find the resources and mentors to help them. He will give remarks and take questions with students from across the school about pathways to college and higher education beyond high school.
President Bacow will also meet with a group of HHS students who are part of a career and college readiness program, the Harvard Club of Seattle’s Crimson Achievement Program (CAP). The CAP program pairs students with current Harvard students and recent graduates who serve as mentors. Last spring, HHS students toured Harvard and MIT in Cambridge, Mass. Students will share their experiences as CAP Scholars and will participate in a Q&A with Bacow as part of the visit.
