Wayne's Service Center Chevron changing hands but thank you's are in order
The Chevron branding already taken down. Wayne's Service Center in Normandy Park on 1st Ave South has been sold after operating non stop since 1965. But the thanks will go on for some time.

Wayne's Service Center Chevron Station in Normandy Park at 18032 1st Ave South owned by Wayne Roush and operated by he and his offspring, Paul, Eric and Stacy Crandall has been sold, marking the end of his 55 years in business.The station became a landmark over the decades with generations of Normandy Park residents and others getting to know Wayne and his family, forming friendships that will go on.
They will be moving all of their equipment out over the next few months. The new owners intend to open another service station on the site in the near future.
Wayne wanted to express his deep gratitude and appreciation for all of their customers over the past 55 years.
Wayne's passion projects have been the Corvette project cars he has owned. Over the years, he showed his hometown pride by supporting Little League teams. Wayne, who is now 84 said that his motto was always “Making every customer feel like family.”
