A power out hit parts of Burien around midday on Jan. 5 affecting 4900 City Light customers including the Fred Meyer store, which was shut down. 

The outage was relieved a little to 2478 customers about half an hour but is still out as of 1:45pm.

The outage was east of Lake Burien extending north and west of  HWY509 to 136th SW where it crosses over to Boulevard Park extending north up to 96th Ave SW. Restorartion was expected to happen soon.
