A citizen was scared after hearing someone pounding on and trying to open the front door and the gate to a rear yard. Officers responded to the scene and found a heavily intoxicated man "hunkered down" in a 2-foot gap between the caller's screen door and the interior door. On Christmas morning, a 33-year-old was booked into King County Jail after he became violent when he couldn't find his debit card. He knocked over furniture, broke lamps, and then locked himself in a bedroom with his girlfriend and refused to let her out. When officers arrived, they found him standing over her, yelling as she crouched on a bed. The suspect's speech was slurred and he was agitated and had obviously been drinking. He is being held for investigation of assault and property damage. His girlfriend refused to provide a statement, said she didn't want to pursue charges or have him arrested.

Although she has a no-contact order against him, a woman let her boyfriend into her residence. He then locked her out of the house and remained inside with their children, refusing to come out. He became increasingly hostile and refused police orders to leave the residence. Concerned for the children's safety, officers forced entry through the second floor. The suspect was arrested as he tried to escape on the ground floor. He was booked into King County Jail for violating a court order and for an outstanding municipal warrant.
A woman called police to say that her boyfriend was angry and spitting on her. When the officer arrived, they found the woman crying, hysterical, and uncooperative. The man denied any assault but admitted he was, indeed, angry: His girlfriend had gone on a crack binge and given their child to someone a few days earlier. The child is now missing. The man asked for help from Child Protective Services so that he can get a parenting plan in place or obtain custody of the child.
