On behalf of the Fauntleroy and West Seattle YMCAs, we would like to thank each of the more than 160 volunteers who campaigned tirelessly on behalf of youth and families during our 2007 Partners With Youth Campaign. This annual fundraising effort supports youth, teen and family programs and provides financial assistance to low-income families, ensuring that everyone is able participate in YMCA programs that build self confidence, teach leadership skills, reinforce positive values and a healthy lifestyle, and instill an ethic of service.

In February, this group of dedicated volunteers raised more than $390,000, which will impact hundreds of West Seattle area youth and families, providing access to programs including child care, swim lessons, youth sports, and summer programs.

To all those who volunteered their time and energy to making this campaign a success; to all the Y staff who worked tirelessly on the campaign; and to every person and organization who pledged their support to the campaign-thank you! Together, your efforts will help the YMCA build strong kids, strong families and strong communities, right here in West Seattle.
