The owner of a neighboring home called a local man and asked to cut trees on the man's lot. The lot owner said no. But within the last six weeks, the trees have been "topped," and the neighbor's home has been put up for sale, presumably with an improved view.

A fisheries experiment being conducted by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration was ruined last week when someone moved around a bunch of equipment that had been set up near Fauntleroy Creek inside the West Seattle Golf Course. Graffiti was found at the site as well.

On 31st SW, three children had been seen wandering the neighborhood checking door handles and entering homes under construction. On Thursday afternoon they caused water damage, ruining $2.600 worth of bamboo flooring. Officers went to the children's homes to see who was responsible for them. A grandma who was supposed to be watching two of the children was asleep. The grandma of the third child denied he was involved - that is, until the child, who was sitting inside the patrol car, admitted he was responsible. According to the officer's report, "neither grandmother appeared concerned that the victims - two 5-year-olds and a 6-year-old - were out wandering the neighborhood by themselves or going into other people's houses."

Around 5:30 Tuesday, a man entered the Wells Fargo Bank in the Admiral Junction, shoved a patron who was waiting in line, and demanded money. He escaped with $749. He is a white male in his 20s, about 6 fee,1 inch tall, thin build, with black hair. He wore a green cap, a white bandanna over his face, a black dress shirt with white cuffs and black pants.

On Roxbury, near 35th, a bare-chested man was walking, talking to himself, yelling and flexing, while sweating profusely. Officers called for an aid unit to transport the man to Harborview. He did admit to officers that he had been drinking and using heroin.

After threatening to kill her foster mother, a14-year-old girl was upset when told she would be moved to a new foster home. She wrapped a telephone cord around her neck and tried to tighten it. Officers were told the girl has both suicidal and homicidal tendencies. She was taken to Children's Hospital for a mental health evaluation.
