A suspect was arrested in the shooting death of a man in White Center.

Sheriff's deputies said the shooting occurred in the parking lot of the Magic Lanes Casino, 10612 15th Ave. S.W. on December 14th. The 22-year old victim was sitting with a friend in a car. The suspect walked by, and an argument developed. The suspect left, but returned and fired several shots at the victim. The friend was not injured.

The victim's friend drove him to Highline Hospital, and the victim was transferred to Harborview where he died three hours later.

Sheriff's detectives investigated the death, and developed probable cause to arrest the 36 year-old suspect, who was staying nearby. The suspect is a convicted felon and was booked in the King County Jail for investigation of homicide. It does not appear the suspect and the victim knew each other prior to the shooting.
