WS High School Football is looking to raise $5,000 for much needed new uniforms with a food booth at the West Seattle Festival July 11 -13.

West Seattle High School football players, parent volunteers and cheerleaders will staff a food booth on the west side of California Ave. and Alaska St. selling chicken sandwiches, chicken Caesar salads and ice cream with the goal of raising $5,000 for 70 new football jerseys, replacing their current five year old worn out jerseys.

West Seattle's annual Summer Fest street fair takes place July 11, 12 and 13 (Friday - Sunday) at "The Junction" along California Avenue S.W. between S.W. Edmunds St. and S.W. Oregon St.

Days and Hours for 2008 Summer Fest:

10a.m. - 8p.m. Friday, July 11

10a.m. - 8p.m. Saturday, July 12

11a.m. - 7p.m. Sunday, July 13.

Other highlights of the family fun Summer Fest include a street dance Saturday night from 8p.m. to midnight, skateboard demonstrations, two live music stages, beer gardens a kids zone and more than 150 booths featuring all kinds of arts and crafts, products and services!
