A 15-year-old girl was shot in the face in SeaTac on Dec. 14 around 12:50 p.m. The girl was staying at a house in the 21400 block of 33rd Ave. S.
The suspect, another girl, and a third girl who was at the scene at the time had not been located by Friday evening.
The girl’s injuries were described by SeaTac police as serious but not life-threatening.
They believe the victim knew the suspect, but the motive for the shooting was unknown.
The girl had been living in the home but a man and woman who also lived there, and were in the home at the time of the shooting, are not her parents.
Three other people in the house at the time of the shooting were interviewed by detectives.
Car crash injures child
A small child was hurt along Interstate 5 near Southcenter Mall on Dec. 13 when a Cadillac crashed into the back of the Honda in which he was riding.
The child’s father had pulled his to side of I-5 near the exit to the shopping center just before the accident occurred.
