DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE

Description of Proposal: This proposal is for transfer of nine parcels of land from Val Vue Sewer District to Midway Sewer District.

Location of Current Proposal: The proposed transfer area consists of nine parcels located in Section 27, Township 23 North, Range 4 East, W.M. The area is in King County and the City of SeaTac. The area is bounded by S. 176th St. on the south and generally by 34th Ave. S. on the west, 40th Ave. S. on the east and 175th St. on the north.

Lead Agency:Val Vue Sewer District

The Lead Agency for this proposal has determined that, with the mitigation measures outlined in the Environmental Checklist for the project, it does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment.

An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030(2)c. This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency. This information is available to the public during the regular business hours of Val Vue Sewer District at the address listed below.

This DNS is issued under 197-11-340; the lead agency will not act on this proposal for fourteen days from the date listed below. Comments must be received by 5:00 p.m. on April 12, 2006.
