I have taken your paper since 1965. I find Ralph Nichols’ one-sidedness out of place in a local paper.

In our small towns we all need to work together. The Des Moines City Council is now an excellent example.

I’m a Christian and look at all sides of an issue. One political party does not have all the answers.

Let’s do away with name-calling and elect the better person. Your “liberal,” “conservative” friend.
