Visitor stabs man in SeaTac motel room
A 44-year-old Renton man was stabbed April 13 in a room at Motel 6, 16500 International Blvd. in SeaTac.
Just before 9:30 p.m., the victim and three of his friends were in the room when the suspect arrived. They all knew of him but no one knew his last name.
Without warning, the suspect attacked the man and stabbed him multiple times before fleeing.
The suspect had not been arrested at press time. He is described as African American, about 45 years old, 5 foot 9 inches tall, and 160 pounds.
Crash kills Burien girl
Erica J. Enns, 17, of Burien, died around 3 p.m. April 9 in a one-car accident near Port Angeles.
According to Washington state troopers, the 1997 Ford Aerostar in which Enns was riding, driven by 19-year-old Jacob A. Anderson of SeaTac, went out of control on a wet stretch of U.S. Highway 101.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. Anderson was taken to Jefferson Healthcare Hospital in Port Townsend with neck and back injuries.
Both Enns and Anderson were wearing seatbelts.
Anderson was cited for negligent driving.
