Making it to Seattle Mariner games at Safeco Field is easy with Sound Transit’s “Home Run Service” and ST Express regional bus service.
Sounder trains feature special service to Saturday and Sunday Mariners home games throughout the season. Trains run northbound from Tacoma and southbound from Everett, with stops along the way.
ST Express buses provide convenient service to all Mariners home games from most major cities and neighborhoods in the region.
“Sound Transit offers hassle-free options for Mariners fans,” said Sound Transit Board chairman and Pierce County Executive John Ladenburg.
“Baseball fans can avoid the Safeco Field traffic and the cost of parking by taking Sounder for Saturday and Sunday day games or ST Express buses for any day or night game.”
Howard Lincoln, Mariners chairman and CEO, said, “We’re pleased to partner again with Sound Transit on the Sounder Home Run service. We know that a lot of our fans travel to the ballpark from outside the Seattle area and this service, along with ST Express buses, makes their trip to and from the ballpark that much easier.”
Sounder’s Home Run Service departs from Tacoma at 11 a.m. and makes stops at Puyallup, Sumner, Auburn, Kent and Tukwila on the way to a noon arrival at Seattle’s King Street Station. It departs King Street Station 30 minutes after the end of the ball game.
