Peace, quiet disturbed

I have recently moved into the city of Des Moines from the city of Seattle. I have always heard how nice and peaceful it is in Des Moines.

But, I have been somewhat disappointed since I have moved in as lately, after 9 p.m., there are speeders, hot-rodders and loud motorcycles until early morning.

I am not an elderly person as I still work, but if I were I should think this would all be very disconcerting to have a lot of noise late at night.

Where are the police at this time of night?
