HIGHLINE WATER DISTRICT ANNOUNCES VACANT COMMISSIONER POSITION

The Highline Water District Board of Commissioners is inviting individuals interested in appointment to a vacant commissioner position on the Board to submit statements of interest to fill the position. Candidates must be registered voters living within the District boundaries. The District is generally located between Puget Sound and 42nd Avenue South, and between South 160th and South 280th Street. Please see our website at www.highlinewater.org to learn more about Highline Water District and determine its exact boundaries. Regular Board meetings are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month and the Workshop Board meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. at the District office located at 23828 30th Ave S., Kent, WA 98032.

The appointee will serve until the next District general election in November, 2007. When elected Commissioners serve six-year terms.
