I concur with the letter from Dean Parkins in the July 12 Times/News. It's way past time to move along. Every time I watch a city council meeting, someone (the mayor is not alone in this) is making a snide comment about the last council or a distasteful remark about the former city manager. There seems to be an attitude among some of them that they saved us from some evil and they just can't pass up a chance to take another shot.

Time to get over it, council members. You only make yourselves look small with your constant sniping. Let's just hope the next council won't disrespect you.
