D'Angelo Jones started the Lancers off in their Saturday, Sept. 17 win by scoring on a 36-yard run. Trevor Steen then kicked the extra point and went on to hit five in a row before Jacob Prato hit two toward the end of the game.

Nate Williams ran for 25-yard run to keep Kennedy on a roll and Jeremy Bland returned a punt 39 yards for a touchdown.

Jones then scored again on a 59-yard run, with Everett Thompson catching an 18-yard pass from Tyrese Lopez.

Lonzell Hill scored on a 19-yard run after that, then Langston Copeland run for a 6-yard touchdown and Zack Johnson on a 19-yard run.

Quilcene 41, Chr. Faith 6

J.J. Williams ran for a 6-yard touchdown that turned out to be the only points Christian Faith of SeaTac would score.

Lakeside 12, Foster 7

Foster's score came in the fourth quarter on an 18-yard run by Trent Bell. Dan Sullivan kicked the PAT.

Lind. 42, Evergreen 21

Sam Williams scored the first touchdown of the game on a 5-yard pass reception from Luther Leonard followed by a Moises Rivera PAT.

After a Lindbergh touchdown and extra point kick, Evergreen took the lead back when Leonard threw a 27-yard pass to Cody Baum. Rivera then kicked another PAT.

But Lindbergh tore its way into the lead to stay when it scored five straight touchdowns. Evergreen added the last touchdown of the game as Isaiah Green threw a 3-yard pass to Vincent Cordova. Rivera added the PAT.

Mt. Rainier 21, Highline 0

Mike Johnson scored the Rams' first two touchdowns on runs of 90 and six yards Friday, and he kicked the extra point after all three of the team's touchdowns. Craig Robinson ran two yards for the final TD.

Hazen 64, Tyee 0

The Totems were blanked by the Highlanders at Renton Stadium Friday.

Seattle Christian took fifth place on the girls side in the Saturday, Sept. 17 meet and did not score enough for a point total on the boys side.

Chad Meis led the boys by finishing ninth overall in a time of 16 minutes, 32.4 seconds while Amy Harris finished 23rd for the girls in 20:54.1.

Foster-SCS

Foster took first place on the boys side in a four team Nisqually League meet held Tuesday, Sept. 20. The Bulldogs scored 32 points to the 39 of Klahowya, 56 of Orting and 106 of Seattle Christian.

Foster's Abde Guire won the race in 16:18.

Klahowya won the girls meet with a 27, ahead of the 39 score of Orting and the 58 of SCS. Foster had an incomplete team.

High.-JFK-Tyee

Highline scored a 28-32 win over Kennedy on the boys side Thursday, but Kennedy and Lindbergh both beat Tyee by default. Lindbergh was a 19-40 winner over Highline.

On the girls side, Lindbergh topped Highline, 25-30, and Highline beat Kennedy, 27-28.

Julia Miller of Highline won in 22:06, with Marisol Sanchez y Lucero of JFK fourth in 24:13. Kayla Griffin of Highline was fifth in 24:22.

Kennedy 3, Evergreen 0

Stefanie Slatt scored nine kills and Chelsie Smith eight for the Lancers in their Tuesday, Sept. 20 win. Rachel Moran had 22 assists and Stephanie Arntz and Brittany Montgomery four aces each. Kennedy enjoyed a 25-8, 25-20, 25-19 win.

The Rams rallied for a 25-21, 25-23, 25-16 victory Tuesday, Sept. 20.

Sara Barakel had 10 kills and three aces and Alvina Fesili 12 assists. Leka Kaufusi tallied six kills, three blocks and three aces. Lorrin Rondeau had five kills.

The Pirates plied past Renton, 25-10, 25-6, 25-5, Tuesday, Sept. 20. Rachel Johnston scored seven kills and seven aces while Kelsey Blanchet had seven aces. Maria Klink had six kills and 14 assists and Catie Vigen five kills.

Noel Simpson was assisted by Tianna Homed in the 16th minute and Harney on a Haynes assist in the 64th. Homad scored unassisted in the 66th minute and then assisted Simpson in the 70th minute.

Katie Haynes put in a goal on a Noelle Simpson assist in the fifth minute Thursday, then she scored on an Alyssa Harney assist in the 13th minute. Elissa Kane was assisted by Haynes in the 30th minute and Harney was assisted by Haynes in the 37th. Haynes was assisted by Simpson in the 50th minute.
