The Saltwater Park Bridge on Marine View Drive in Des Moines is expected to be closed for six months. During the big December windstorm, a tree fell onto the south approach retaining wall causing significant damage. Traffic is being detoured around the bridge. Temporary repair costs may be up to $500,000.
