Some sure love to hate those who are willing to speak boldly and force us to open our eyes to a different point of view. The way several letter writers have referred to Ron Seale, you would think that he is either a Nazi, or works for Bin Laden.
It took great courage for Ron to use his constitutional rights, and share information that he felt Burien residents needed to know before they entered the voting booth.
Readers should be more concerned that collaborating Burien City Council candidates Lamphear and Keene were telling everyone that they have not made up their minds about annexation, yet, at many meetings over the past two years, both have spoken loudly in support of it (11th District Democratic Legislative report meeting - Spring 2007, or the December 2005 Burien Comprehensive Planning meeting, for example)
So who really "diminishes us all"? A private citizen like Ron Seale who risks his community standing to speak out on an uncomfortable issue with documented information, or a couple of politicos who appear to misrepresent their personal views in hopes of improving their chances of being elected?
Ron, you can mentor my two wonderful boys anytime. There are not nearly enough like you in America, and there are far to many of the other.
