The Foster Bulldogs took a loss to the Garfield Bulldogs in the Dog Bone Tournament.
Sara Paponjak led Foster with 18 points and Zerina Kapetanovic scored 14.
SCS 60, Chimacum 26
Melissa Collier led the Warriors to victory with 18 points as Tianna Homad hit 11 points and Lexi Peterson nine.
Boys basketball
West Seattle 66, Highline 51
Thang Nguyen scored a team-high 18 points for Highline in the non-league loss as Rogers Pierce hit 11 and Cordell Manson nine.
Malcholm Love led West Seattle with 26 points. Keenan Allen added 15 points and Kenny Wheeler hit eight.
Garfield 77, Foster 55
Garfield also defeated Foster in the boys game Saturday, Jan. 5.
Refugio Soto-Lopez led Foster with 21 points as Adam Chisholm threw in 13 and Reuben Donaldson 12.
SCS 73, Chimacum 45
Austin Revenig and Blake Simpson both scored 15 points for Seattle Christian in its Nisqually League win over Chimacum. Al Lang added 14 and Cory Peterson hit eight.

Maria Mulvihill was Highline's leading scorer last Tuesday with six points.

Allie Madison led the Lancers in last Tuesday's rout with 20 points and Dedra Brown sank 17 with Jasmine Lemon and Chelsea Lockhart hitting 15 each. Andrea Goins scored 13, Presley Nuefeld 11 and Jasmine Lambert eight.
Manuia Keni led Evergreen with four.

Sarah Martinez scored 16 for Mount Rainier in its win last Tuesday and Maris Blair tallied 10.

Deshea Bell scored 17 points to lead Kennedy to victory last Tuesday as Marques Moorman scored 16, Tre Watson 14 and Nolan Washington eight.

Girls basketball
Foster 52, Centralia 32
Zerina Kapetanovic scored 13 points to lead the Bulldogs to victory, with Lanaya Daniels, Jasmine Horton and Sara Paponjak hitting eight each.
"The Foster defense clamped down on defense and shut them down to six points in the second half," said Foster head coach Erik Fleischer. "We allowed our defensive style and hustle to control the game."
SCS 82, Washington 31
Melissa Collier tossed in 21 points for Seattle Christian's winning cause last Wednesday, while Alyssa Abe scored 13. Tianna Homad and Lexi Peterson scored 10 apiece and Janelle Storgaard added eight.
Gymnastics
Tyee
The Totems took a 132.35-90.75 loss to Lindbergh last Wednesday. Ashley Grahams tied for third in the floor exercise with a 5.8.
Highline
Hazen scored 127.15 points to the 123.5 of Highline last Wednesday.
Kelsey Rainwater won the all-around for the Pirates with a 28.6 total score, and came in second in the bars with a 6.0 ahead of teammate Jodie Herring (5.8).
Emily Howell-Forbes scored a 7.6 to win the beam ahead of Rainwater (7.4). Rainwater was also second in the floor with a 7.2 and she tied for second in the vault with an 8.0.
JFK-Evergreen
Kennedy scored a 139.5-51 victory over Evergreen last Wednesday. Gwen Smithberg led the Lancers to victory, winning the all-around (34.3), bars (8.6), beam (7.7), floor (9.35) and vault (8.65).
Mt. Rainier
The Rams posted a 149.45-133.8 win last Wednesday against Renton.
Nikita Ginnett won the all-around with a 32.55 score and teammate Chelsea Carona took the beam with an 8.2. Ginnett also won the floor (9.7) and vault (8.35).
