House destroyed by fire

as heat melts exterior

April 3 - Burien/Normandy Park firefighters responded to an afternoon blaze that destroyed a house near First Avenue South.

Smoke was pouring from windows and one corner of the house was involved in flames. Vinyl siding had melted from the home's exterior.

No one was home at the time and no injuries were reported.

Police seek public's help

in finding murder suspect

April 3-Police asked the public for help in locating Carlos Wayne "Loot" Ellison, the suspect in the early morning murder of his friend Rogers Jovan Ward on March 15.

They said Ellison may be armed and is considered dangerous. He is believed to be hiding the Puget Sound area.

Ellison, 25, is described as a black mail with black hair and brown eyes, 5 feet 9 inches and 150 pounds.
