I am a resident of the Epi Apartments and I'm all for the paid parking. I remember they had a petition up in the lobby for residents to sign who were against, which I thought was inappropriate especially since they didn't have one for those of us that believe Fremont should have paid parking.
My point is that your perception is that all of Fremont or the majority is against paid parking. But the truth is those of us who think the paid option viable just don't voice our opinion as much or haven't been given the opportunity. To be honest the only reason I am writing this is because I'm sick and tried of hearing you complain.
Get a life people you live in a city, and with more people comes expense and sharing. Here's a thought maybe you should spend more of you life energy actually helping people rather than fussing over the installation of meters.
