It has been a half-century of happiness for Ken and Donna Olsen who enjoyed their Golden Anniversary Dec. 19.

"I picked up film from the photo shops and drug stores around Bremerton to get developed at Crystalike, a commercial darkroom, and Ken worked at a camera store on my route," recalled Donna. "That's how we met. When I'd=d pick up his film, the shop owners, Bill and Linda Labow, would ask, 'Did he ask you out yet?'

The Labow's also owned 17 pharmacies, including Pay Right Drug in White Center as well as the future Olsen Pharmacy at Morgan Junction.

"We didn't start dating until about a year after we met. Our first date was Aug. 30, 1958.
