Kennedy 55, Foster 12
Kennedy hosted Foster for an afternoon game Saturday, Oct. 4 and rallied for a convincing 55-12 win over the Bulldogs.
Tre Watson once again led the way, carrying the football 243 yards with four touchdowns.
Kennedy totaled 496 rushing yards on 37 carries.
Watson started off the show with 9:22 left in the first quarter, scoring on an 8-yard run, then Zach Zielinski kicked his first of three-straight conversions and first of seven total conversions out of eight attempts.
Watson rumbled 85 yards for a touchdown at 5:21 to go, then struck again with 19 seconds left in the first quarter on an 87-yard punt return.
Nolan Washington made his presence felt at the start of the second quarter, scoring on a 13-yard run at the 7:54 mark.
Foster found paydirt with 2:52 left in the quarter, as Norman MoiMoi snatched a 2-yard pass from Aaron Rodriguez. The PAT kick failed to leave Kennedy with a 21-6 lead.
Watson scored the first two touchdowns of the third quarter, scoring the first on a 7-yard run and the second on a 1-yard run. Zielinski made the PAT after the first at the 9:55 mark but the kick failed after the second at 4:08 to play.
Washington did the scoring honors at 3:24 to play in the third quarter, returning an interception 53 yards to paydirt.
Zielinski made the kick for the conversion, then Antonio Valencia ran for a 46-yard touchdown with 12 seconds left in the third and Zielinski also kicked the PAT after that.
Foster got the last word in with 6:38 to go in the fourth quarter, when Gabe Gutierrez scored on a 10-yard run. The PAT kick failed to leave the score at its final 55-12 margin.
Foster’s Nate Williams punted the ball seven times for 235 yards.

Foster fared better in Friday’s battle with the Totems.
Williams ran 48 yards for the first score, then Daniel Tang caught a 14-yard touchdown pass from Rodriguez.
Rodriguez threw a 56-yard pass to Rashawn Johnson and ran for a two-point conversion to make up for two earlier PAT misses.
Williams then punched the ball into the end zone on a 6-yard run and Steven Schenck made the kick. Norman MoiMoi struck on a 46-yard run and Tyee’s Johnny Walker caught an 8-yard TD pass.
Lindbergh 46, Mt. Rainier 0
The Rams were blanked by the Eagles Friday.
Kennedy 36, Renton 8
Tre Watson scored on touchdowns of two yards, 15 yards, seven yards and 40 yards for the Lancers Friday in a win over Renton - a longtime nemesis.
Ronnielle Kelly-Battles struck on a 27-yard run and ran for his own two-point conversions. Nolan Washington scored the final touchdown with 35 seconds left on a 5-yard run. Zach Zielinski kicked four conversions, with Antonio Valencia catching a pass from Peter Moffat for two.
Monday, Oct. 6
Volleyball
Mt. Rainier 3, Kentridge 1
The Rams posted a 25-17, 11-25, 25-19, 25-11 victory over the Chargers last Monday.
Kathleen Mulligan scored seven kills as Christina Postnikoff led with 15 assists and Jesie Rondoni with 10 digs. Alina Moss had five digs.
Kennedy 3, Foster 0
Kennedy scored a 25-9, 25-9, 15-11 victory and a 25-10, 25-10, 25-8 over the Bulldogs.
Emily Jovanovich scored 11 kills and Katie Key had 21 assists and four aces.
Jennica McPherson had seven kills and Ashley Eneliko had four aces and five kills.
Tuesday, Oct. 7
Volleyball
Mt. Rainier 3, Renton 0
The Rams were 25-23, 25-12, 25-15 winners over the Indians last Monday.
Kathleen Mulligan had eight kills and Chelsea Miller eight kills and four aces. Christina Postnikoff had 13 assists.
Thursday, Oct. 9
Volleyball
Kennedy 3, Renton 0
The Lancers prevailed in Thursday’s match, 25-10, 25-12, 25-16.
Eneliko had 13 kills and three stuffs, while Key had 11 assists and Emily Lockett 13 assists.
Mt. Rainier 3, Lindbergh 1
Mount Rainier won last Thursday, 25-18, 23-25, 25-13, 25-13.
Mulligan paced the Rams with 18 kills and Postnikoff led with 28 assists. Miller had 10 kills and Moss nine.
