Sherill L. de Carrico

Sherill L. de Carrico, 65, died surrounded by her children at her home in Federal Way on 11/15/2006. She was born in Wichita, KN on 3/23/1941.

Sherill was a spiritual woman who fiercely loved her family and was cherished by them. She befriended all that she met. She had adventure in her blood and loved to travel the country. Her many accomplishments included being voted Miss Congeniality as Miss Federal Way in 1959. She authored and illustrated a children's book and loved to dance so much that she owned a dance studio. Sherill had a beautiful singing voice and would break out in song on a moments notice. She even rode the bull at Gilley's on one of her many travels. She especially loved artistic persuits, yet there was very little she couldn't tackle. She enjoyed geneology, bragging about her family, collecting carousels and sitting deep in thought next to a gentle stream.

Her daughters, Amy Kissner, LeAnne Summers, Michelle Lee, Donna McKenna Anderson; son, Erik Wiitanen; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren survive Sherill.
