Ron L. Cole, 63, a Port Orchard and Goodyear, Arizona resident since 1999, passed away on Nov 20, 2006, due to complications of open heart surgery.

Ron was a graduate of University of Puget Sound, a retired commercial mortgage banker, and a B-52 pilot during the Vietnam War. He was a member of The Church at Litchfield Park in Arizona. He loved golfing and had memberships at Twin Lakes Golf & Country Club of Federal Way and Fircrest Golf Club of Tacoma.

Family members include wife Nancy Cole of Port Orchard; daughters Elizabeth Cole of Beaverton, OR, Shelby (Tim) Kerr of Lake Oswego, OR; 2 grandchildren Amanda & Natalie Kerr; sister Claudia (Kerry) Ainsworth of Asheboro, N.C.; Marilou (Terry) Bowman of Rockaway Beach, OR; brother Dr. J. Roger Cole (Molly) of Moscow, ID.

A Celebration of Life Service was held at Fircrest Country Club. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to World Vision, Federal Way, the Jr Golf Program at Fircrest Country Club, or The Franciscan Foundation. Arrangements by Haven of Rest, Gig Harbor.
