The Ballard High School softball team was no match for Bothell in a 11-1 May 7 loss.

The Beavers had three hits, but gave up 10 to Bothell.

Haley DeGarmo went one-for-three with a double and an RBI for Ballard.

Pitcher Sophie Overlock-Pauley gave up 10 hits, walked nine and had two strikeouts in a little more than five innings of work.

Ballard's offense is having a hard time keeping up with opponents this season. In 15 games, Ballard is being outscored 143 to 24.

With three games left, the Beavers are 1-14 overall and are on an 11-game losing streak.

They face Lake Washington, a team that blanked them 10-0 April 16, at 3:45, May 8 at Crestwood Field.
