Sylvia Lindeman

Sylvia Lindeman passed away May 16, 2007.

Sylvia was born in Sweden in 1917 and immigrated to Chehalis in 1930. In 1940 she married Alvin Lindeman. They moved to Bremerton where Alvin worked in the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard during and after World War II. Sylvia applied her artistic talents hand-coloring black-and-white photographs at a local photo studio.

Sylvia and Alvin lived in Tacoma for 30 years. After retirement they lived at Treasure Island (in Mason County) and in Federal Way.

Sylvia is survived by her son, Terry, and her grandson Jon. Her husband Alvin; her Brothers Ivar, Sixten, and Herbert; and her sisters Nancy and Blenda preceded her in death.
