Born December 10, 1964 in Stavanger, Norway, passed away on January 16, 2006 in Seattle, WA. John was a lifelong resident of Ballard before going into the Navy. He loved boating, skiing, diving, camping and computers. John was a friend of many and an enemy of none, and left behind many many friends and relatives who will miss him dearly. John leaves behind his daughter Ashlee and his love, Roxanne and daughter Natalie. He is also survived by his father Harald Sollesvik and his brothers Mike, Scott, Bob and sister, Ringer, two half sisters, Janehild and Gloria. He also leaves behind his sister in law Maria, and nephew Lucas Jan, brother in law Mike and nephew Zac, sister in law Windi and nephews Craig and Bryce and mom, Darla, and Grandma.

A service to celebrate John's life was held on Friday, January 20, 2006 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Leif Erickson Sons of Norway Lodge in Ballard. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in John's name to the Northwest Kidney Foundation, P.O. Box 3035 Seattle, WA 98114-9906
