Terrence Dennis Humphrey
Passed away on April 20, 2007 at the age of 72.
Terry was a native of Washington State born and raised in Ballard. He was a 1953 graduate of Ballard High School. He served in the Marine Corp. as an M.P. at Camp Elliott in California, honorably discharged in 1957. Terry was employed with the Edmonds School District for 20 years until his retirement in 1995. Most of that time was dedicated to Woodway High School as head of maintenance. During his retirement, he enjoyed traveling full-time with his wife and pets. Settling in Bullhead City, Ariz., for four years, he then returned back to Washington State where he passed away comfortably at his home in Lake Stevens.
He is survived by Sharon, his wife of 48 years; daughters Kelli Mellors, Donel Etter, and Marni Beeler (Jeffrey); Brother Tobin Humphrey, and four grandchildren.

Elsie Salmi Leighton
83, passed away on April 15,2007. Elsie was born and raised in Ballard, graduating from Ballard High School. Upon marrying in 1949, Elsie spent most of her adult life in Southern California. She loved golfing, shorthand, sewing and tatting. Elsie is survived by her daughter Sigrie Leighton Potter and husband Bill, brother Howard Salmi, sisters Ethel Salmi Dunkle and Ilmi Salmi Philips and husband Al. and two grandchildren, Liina and Robby.
