Ruth (Feigum) Peterson

Of Redmond, Ore., died August 15 of natural causes at the age of 101. A private memorial service was held September 22.

Mrs. Peterson was born January 15, 1906, in Minneapolis, Minn., and spent most of her childhood years on a farm in eastern Montana. She lived in Ballard over 50 years where she also owned a beauty salon on Market Street. While her daughters were school age, she was active in PTA and Girl Scouts; she was also a member of Ballard First Lutheran Church and the Swedish Club.

Upon retirement, Mrs. Peterson moved to Scottsdale, Ariz. where she lived for 16 years. In 1996 she moved to Southern Calif. and the past year to Redmond, Oregon to be near her family.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol Petersen of Seattle, and Lois (Edward) Boero of Redmond, Ore.; 2 grandsons, Peter (Kimberly) Albert of Seattle, and Joseph Boero of Redmond, Ore.; and 2 great-grandchildren, Owen and Anna Albert.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Clifford Feigum.
