Unwanted squeeze
A King County Sheriff's deputy called for assistance at the Monte Carlo Casino. He had two subjects in custody for assault. A male suspect grabbed the buttock of a female patron. The victim's father stepped in to help and tried to pull the suspect away. The suspect grabbed a glass bottle and hit the father in the head causing a laceration. Police interviewed witnesses at the scene and the men were taken into custody.
Sneaky photographer
Police responded to a call in the area of South 164th St and Military Road South. A woman reported an unknown male was taking pictures of her. He followed her a short distance up the street snapping photos. Police were not able to find the subject in the area.
Hit and run driver comes back
A vehicle, driving at a high rate of speed, was not able to stop for the red light, causing the vehicle to hit a blue truck. The driver fled on foot after the accident, but then returned to the scene one hour later. Police arrested the driver for hit and run with injuries.
Burien stabbing
King County Sheriff's dispatchers reported a man was stabbed in Burien early Sunday, Aug. 9. The man was stabbed several times in his upper body and was taken to the hospital. There is no information on the victim's condition. A suspect was taken into custody.
Death threats and stalking
A woman believes she is receiving phone calls from a church member threatening to kill her and her family. The only problem is that she is the only one that hears the threats due to her diagnosed mental illness. Police officers took the woman home to her husband. No charges were filed against the church or the victim.
Trespassers leave a surprise
A woman was gone from her home for four days. All the doors to the home were locked but one window was open. Upon entry to the residence she found a small dead rabbit on her living room carpet. Many of her drawers had been opened and rummaged through but nothing appeared to be missing.
Tukwila stabbing
A 19-year-old woman was stabbed multiple times early Thursday morning, Aug. 13, in front of the Boulevard Motel. The motel is located near International Boulevard South and South 144th Street in Tukwila. Officials were working Thursday to get surveillance video of the 2:30 a.m. stabbing and to form a description of the assailant. The injured woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center, Mike Murphy, Tukwila police spokesman, said.
