Walter was born June 15, 1914 in Kenosha, Wisconsin and died at home December 30, 2005 in Seattle. Having moved from Chicago to Seattle in 1937 Wally retired after 40 years with the Boeing Company as an aeronautical engineer. Throughout his life he was an avid fisherman, hunter, inventor and Danish baker. His creative mind was always investigating the newest and most innovative gadgets, but never far away were WD-40 and duct tape for any repairs.
He lived his faith as a member of Peace Lutheran Church for over 50 years. He is survived by his three children, Richard, Carolyn (Walt) and Alice (Kenji); one beloved granddaughter, Kristen; and wife Frances. He is preceded in death by his first wife of 5 years, Margie. Private memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be sent to Peace Lutheran Church of West Seattle or Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. We love you Daddy and GP.
