Corinne B. Sarkies (nee Newquist) was born April 13, 1914 and died December 31, 2005. She is survived by her three children, Jeffrey, Todd (Ilene) and Carol, and her three grandchildren, Jason, Tessa and Daneka Sarkies. One brother, Donald Newquist (Edith), also survives, as well as other members of the extended family. We are grateful to the many people who extended kindness to our mother during her final illness as well. Thank you to her friends at Brittany Park who helped her find a new community that gave her great joy in the last years of her life. Thank you also to Bob and Jeanne Sarkies for your love and support.

A vigil was celebrated on January 4 and the Mass of Christian Burial was on January 5, both at Holy Rosary Church. Burial followed at Holyrood Cemetery.
