Grace C. Parker

HANNA-ROEDER

Born October 10, 1922 in Winthrop, Washington Passed away peacefully at Swedish Hospital from MDS (a rare-blood disorder.) She was survived by and will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Walter Roeder, daughter, Debbie Carlin, son, Maxwell Hanna, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Grace retired 1988 from Seafirst Bank, Commercial Mortgage, expert in shorthand and communication with developers. She loved to sing every Sunday in the choir at the downtown First United Methodist Church, her passion for life and laughter meant so much to everyone, and she is legacy for the women in the Parker family, a strong and outspoken women (a devoted DEMOCRAT). She kept the records of the Parker family going back to the 16th Century. Enjoyed playing bridge, going to the YMCA exercise classes and having coffee and chit-chat with her AOL group.

Grace and Walter were snowbirds for many years and spent their winter's in Mesa, Arizona where they had many swimming, dancing, and party friends. They were also the block captains.

A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 18th 2006 at West Seattle Tibbetts United Methodist Church. 3940 41st SW, Seattle, Washington 98116.
