Robert Antone "Tony" Strain, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, May 1st after a long illness. Tony served four years in the United States Marine Corps. He retired from Sears after twenty years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Charles Strain and Thelma LaMoyne Strain, as well as his stepfather, Norm Hamilton. He is survived by his daughter, Shelby; brothers Charles Nick Strain, William Dirk Strain (Cindy) and Larry Lance Strain; sisters Roberta Nop and Bobee Carol Strain Marrapodi, all of Seattle and by sisters Fran Duby (Robert) of Kent and Sandra Fisch of California. Tony's many nieces and nephews will miss their beloved uncle. He will also be missed by the many friends he made walking and riding his bike at Alki, Green Lake and Lake Washington. A private service was held by his family.
