Teen charged as adult
A 16 year old Tukwila teen accused of robbing another teen at gunpoint has been charged as an adult. King County Prosecutors filed first degree robbery and unlawful gun possession charges against Jaime Cisneros-Velazquez. In the charging documents, prosecutors alleged that Cisneros-Velazquez and a female companion followed a Highline High school student home from a school bus and robbed him at gun point.
Cineros-Velazquez drew a pistol and demanded his belongings. The teen handed over multiple items, including his backpack, jacket and cell phone.
Contacted, by police, at a Burien alternative school, Cisneros-Velazquez had a handgun and several small bags of marijuana and a small bag of crack cocaine. Cisneros-Velazquez is expected to be arraigned in King County Superior Court. His companion has been charged as a juvenile, according to court documents.
Fugitive escapes Police at Airport
Acting on a tip, police tried to catch a man wanted in Snohomish County on an assault warrant. He ran from police as he was preparing to board a flight. He raced through an emergency exit, through baggage claim area and fled in a van stolen from the cable television show called "The Locators". The van was later found abandon in Tukwila. The man had vanished.
Keys Stolen and Replaced with Feces
A woman reported to police that her keys were stolen as she was unloading her vehicle. She left her keys hanging in the front door. At some point the keys were taken out of the front door and replaced with a bag of dog poop on the handle. The woman did notice a Black Honda Pilot backing up. No suspect information was available.
Evidence Left Behind
Police responded to a report of a hit and run collision on the 15700 block of International Boulevard South. Allegedly, a driver of an Explorer left the scene without exchanging information with the other party. Police took the other drivers statement and searched the area. They found the driver of the Explorer had left his license plate behind. The plate was placed into evidence and the investigation is ongoing.
Forged Prescription
A pharmacist at Walgreen's located at 14656 Ambaum Blvd., received a suspicious phone call for a prescription. A female called claiming to be the wife of a Doctor, requesting a prescription of Vicodin for the suspect. The pharmacist contacted the Doctor to confirm the prescription and the Doctor stated the suspect was not a patient of his. The suspect's identity was not released, nor were any other details, due to an ongoing investigation.
